How good will it be to able to experience an actual hardware lab environment from the comfort of your drawing room ? The Massively Open Online Courses have brought high-quality education to a location agnostic platform which can be accessed by anyone from any part of the world, as long as there is internet access.
But these courses cannot give the real-world experience of working in an actual hardware lab. For subjects such as Electrical engineering, architectural engineering etc. this is critical.
This research is exploring the capabilities of robotics coupled with virtual reality to bring near-actual experience of working in a laboratory to any one any where in the world.
